Price, UT — November 11, 2025 — Intermountain Electronics (IE) is proud to announce it has been recognized as a 2025 Military Friendly® Employer – Gold Top 10, a distinction honoring organizations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to recruiting, developing, and supporting veterans, transitioning service members, and military families.
The Military Friendly® designation is awarded based on an independent assessment of employer culture, retention, training, advancement opportunities, and support programs for service members. Earning Gold Top 10 places IE among the highest-performing veteran-supportive employers in the nation.
“Veterans bring technical ability, leadership, and a sense of personal pride and accountability that directly aligns with the work we do,” said Alan Mackiewicz, Director of Human Resources. “This recognition reflects our commitment to offering not just job opportunities, but long-term career pathways for those who have served.”
Over the past year, IE has developed and implemented a comprehensive Veteran & Military Hiring Plan focused on expanding candidate outreach and building internal support pathways that promote long-term career development. This initiative has strengthened IE’s ability to translate military skillsets into meaningful civilian roles across manufacturing, operations, engineering, maintenance, field service, safety, and leadership tracks.
As part of its military hiring and development strategy, IE has also established a Department of Defense SkillBridge Program, which provides transitioning service members the opportunity to complete their final 180 days of active duty working and training inside IE facilities. The SkillBridge program is offered at all four IE locations: Price, Utah; Denver, Colorado; South Point, Ohio; and Centralia, Illinois. Participants gain hands-on experience in skilled trades, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, operations, project management, and more—with full-time employment opportunities available upon successful completion.
