Tom Case

Thomas D. Case, Jr.
CLU, ChFC, CPCU, AIFA ®, RPA

Tom Case is the founder and Chairman of Case Pearlman Corporate Benefits.  Prior to opening his current firm, Tom was President of a full service insurance agency beginning in 1974.
Tom is a Chartered Life Underwriter, a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst.  He is also a member of the American Society of Chartered Life Underwriters and Chartered Financial Consultants, the American Society of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, and is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Roundtable for over 25 years.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of FineMark National Bank and Trust in Fort Myers.
Tom and his wife enjoy competitive golf.
 

Dennis PearlmanDennis M. Pearlman, AIF ®

Dennis Pearlman is President of Case Pearlman Corporate Benefits.  In addition to holding Florida Life, Health, and Annuities and Series 6 and 65 licenses, Dennis also earned an Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation from the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
Dennis’ professional experience includes:
  • The State of Florida’s Auditor General’s Office responsible for internal audit functions for various governmental entities
  • State Attorney in Tampa as the Director of Finance and Public Information Officer
  • Executive Director for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit for the then acting State Attorney Joseph P. D’Alessandro responsible for all budgeting, public relations, human resources, and state lobbying functions for the five-county Southwest Florida area
Dennis is committed to community service.  His past and current involvement includes:

Dennis and his wife, Kay, have three sons, and he enjoys running, golf, and coaching his sons in various sports.
 

Mary Lou Cassario Mary Lou Caserio

Mary Lou Caserio has been associated with the insurance industry for 30+ years.  She joined what is now Case Pearlman in January, 2002 and has watched the company grow from a simple staff of three individuals to a staff of experts in the fields of group health insurance, retirement plan advisors, and life and disability agents.  She has been the receptionist during this time and has also assisted in the Individual Life and Disability department. 
Mary Lou takes much pride in her family…a daughter, two sons, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.  She also enjoys crossword puzzles!
 

Linda Case

Lynda C. Case

Lynda C. Case, President of Case Life Solutions, is our life and disability insurance specialist.  She uses a large variety of insurance companies to find the best suited, most competitive product available for her clients.
She specializes in finding personal and business solutions through an advanced financial planning process called Wealth In Motion.  She frequently quarterbacks a team of specialists which would include the client’s CPA, estate planning attorney, banker, and property casualty insurance agent.  This team approach produces a well-balanced, comprehensive program that is of great benefit to her clients.
Lynda is married to Tom (Case), and frequently works jointly with him.  She is a Florida Atlantic University graduate and a former professional golfer.  She has five cats, one dog and is an animal lover.
 


James O. LeeJames O. Lee

Jim Lee has been a professional in sales and sales management since 1980.  Jim retired after 25+ years with Procter & Gamble in various levels of sales and sales management and moved to Ft. Myers.  In addition to holding Florida Life, Health, and Annuities, Series 6 and Series 65 licenses, his main focus with Case Pearlman is in the area of retirement plans. 
Jim's experience also includes work as a member of the board of directors for the Lee County YMCA, the program committee for the Human Resources Management Association of Southwest Florida (affiliated with Society of HR Managers), Junior Achievement, The St. Louis Sports Commission, the Fan Advisory Board for the Minnesota Twins minor league affiliate in Ft. Myers, and is an usher for the Twins during spring training. 
Jim lives with his wife, Terri, in Ft. Myers, and their adult son lives in Miami.
 


Gary A. FitzerGary

Gary Fitzer has been a registered securities representative for over 30 years. He has advised individual investors as an Investment Associate, supervised retail operations as Branch Manager and managed retirement planning product distribution to institutions as Regional Vice President for one of the country's largest financial services providers.
His role at Case Pearlman is as an Investment Advisor Representative specifically for the Club Managers Assocation of America, ClubSolutions Retirement Plan.
Gary and his family have resided in Charlotte, NC since 1997, where he serves as an officer for the United Methodist Men at Weddington UMC. 
 


Courtnie M. SmusCourtnie Smus

Courtnie Smus has been in the financial industry for 16+ years. She has a Bachelor’s of Art degree in English from Michigan State University. Courtnie has a diverse background in the industry from handling Fixed and Index Annuity Disbursements, Training new employees and writing procedure manuals with Jackson National Life Insurance Company. As well as managing the business of a group of Registered Investment Advisors at MetLife. She joined Case Pearlman in 2011 and her main focus is in our retirement plan department as our Corporate Benefits Specialist. She also oversees the Company’s compliance records and procedures.
Courtnie is originally from Michigan and currently resides in Cape Coral with her husband and their two children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, camping, fishing and most of all spending time with her family.
 


Marie D. Gunias

Marie Gunias joined the Case Pearlman Corporate Benefits team in 2005 and became licensed in 2007 in Life, Health, and Annuities and has a thorough understanding of the health insurance process.  She is our manager of Small Group Business as well as exceeding client expectations as our Group Customer Service Manager. She has spent many years in the client care department working directly with employers as well as employees to help resolve any insurance related issues. Marie has over 8 years of client servicing experience specifically geared toward group health benefits, and she currently volunteers with American Heart Ball (American Heart Association) and CCMI (Community Cooperative Ministries, Inc).
Marie is originally from North Brunswick, NJ and currently resides in Cape Coral with her husband Jason.  In her spare time she enjoys Tennis, yoga, reading, spending time with her Shih Tzu puppy, and fundraising for the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life of Fort Myers.

Kimberly Carney Baxter

Kimberly Carney Baxter has been with Case Pearlman Corporate Benefits since 2006.  Her main focus is in coordination for Case Pearlman Retirement Plan Advisors and Case Life Solutions for the Individual Life and BOLI Departments.  After many years in the “client and member services” industry, mainly with community associations, clubs, and hotels, she changed career paths and brings with her over 23 years of excellence in customer service and taking ownership of concerns to their resolution.  Her goal and aspiration is to bring to your organization “raving fan” service for your employees. 
Kim is originally from Youngstown, Ohio and moved to Fort Myers in 1984.  She is married to PGA Professional, Peter Baxter, and they have two children – Shaely and Aidan.  While most of their free time is spent raising children, swimming, golfing, and such, the entire family is active in the Blessed Pope John XXIII Church.
